Like many other resorts their are mopeds, motorbikes and bicycles for rent and should you need any other service they are ready to help you out and put you in touch with people they truly trust. We always chose to eat here looking out at the Andaman Sea and islands, while being entertained by the butterflies at work and several dragonflies floating on the grass bank beyond. For lunch and dinner choose from a good selection of appetising Thai food. This family run business has it's own restaurant which serves an excellent breakfast including fresh island fruit, eggs and the delicious mango or banana roti (Thai pancakes). You can enjoy seeing different species of crabs going around their business, dollar clams, starfish and so much more. Across the coastal road choose to walk up to Koh Nok island when the tide is out at Sunrise or Sunset as this is a treat. The gardens are full of beautiful coloured flowers and orchids with many butterflies of different sizes and colours, which can be enjoyed from your hammock on the terrace. While the evening lullaby is full of toads croaking, bats chirping, birds settling to sleep and the tide returning to shore. From your terrace you can see the sun rise over the islands and listen to the horn billed birds, crows and some of the 600 species of birds chirping in the trees around, squirrels munching at the banana trees, the ocean waves and sometimes a monkey family comes to visit when the mangoes are ripe. Behind the resort is high ground with a variety of trees making up the jungle. Situated close to Takow Pier it is secluded, private, enjoys one of the few sandy beaches that is very peaceful since there are only a few resorts and shops surrounding it. The bungalows are private, well furnished, comfortable, very clean with garden furniture in all their terraces. Suntisook is a bungalow resort set within a beautiful garden, right across from the beach, with spectacular views of the Koh Yao islands.
